Tiranga: A Celebration of the Indian Flag features the photographic vision of more than seventy of India's photographers including T. S. Satyan, Raghu Rai, Avinash Pasricha, Ram Rahman, Prashant Panjiar, Dayanita Singh and Swapan Parekh. The real star of this book is however the Indian tricolour itself, explored with a lot of energy and freshness across India and in a variety of situations.

"By reaching out to many of India's leading photographers as well as lesser known professionals and amateurs across the country and through a variety of means, this project presents an engaging democracy of images that is in keeping with the spirit of its theme. Eminent Indians from a variety of fields as well as those from the ordinary walk of life have also shared their thoughts with this project. Together, the thoughts and the images reflect the diversity of our land as well as the many literal and photographic viewpoints about our tricolour."
